Like A House Party is a social event for professionals of diverse backgrounds who are looking to have interesting conversations and meet other successful, smart people…who just happen to be available for mingling and more.
This event is specifically geared towards Pittsburgh’s polyamorous crowd!
We know how awkward it is to be a plus one or to not know anyone when you move to a new city, which is why Like A House Party is the perfect event to expand your social circle in a low-pressure way.
While these events are NOT held in a house (hence the name), we will have semi-private, quieter space to socialize and get to know fellow polyamorous people in the city.
HOW IT WORKS
Upon arrival, you’re greeted by the friendliest host and given a drink ticket (well, wine, beer or soft drink). There will also be light bites available.
Take this opportunity to get to know other attendees. Once we give everyone some time to arrive, we’ll begin structured introductions to other attendees.
Not sure what to say? We’ll provide each attendee with ice-breakers to help deepen the conversation along with connection strategies so you can remember each new person you meet.
We promise that you will leave our not house, house party, feeling great!
All we ask is that you show KINDNESS and OPEN-MINDEDNESS and RESPECT to each spirit you meet. Follow those three rules, and you’re guaranteed to have fun!
TICKETS
Early Bird Tickets are $35 and include one complimentary drink and light bites.
Get your tickets early because they go up to $45 one week prior to the event and $50 at the door. We’re not mean, we just need a decent headcount to give the venue.

REFUNDS
We do not offer refunds for any reason. Should you cancel more than one week prior to the event, you’ll get a credit to attend a future event. Last minute cancellations are not entitled to a refund or future event credit.

Penn Society is an intimate, 1920’s Prohibition-style Social Club. Tucked away underneath Ten Penny*, you can enjoy a unique blend of spirits crafted by our experienced mixologists. We host a variety of private events & also offer exclusive club memberships. This speakeasy is the perfect after-hours spot for a night out in our beloved city of Pittsburgh.
